The last few days have been a little crazy. More on that later.
In the meantime, here's an Australian Darter that seemed reasonably happy to model for me by the river in South Perth today.
Mental note: must get a bigger zoom lens for the camera so I can take such photos without lying stretched out on my stomach a few feet from something that can peck out my eyes.

There's a BBC photo competition going at the moment. Although I think this week the subject is "fashion", there may be an appropriate subject in a few weeks to enter this one in.
